Children's Liturgy of the Word

The Children's Liturgy is a part of the Saturday evening five o'clock Mass. After the opening prayer, children in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited downstairs in the church to participate in the Children's Liturgy of the Word. Through the use of props and other visual aids, the children are encouraged to join in discussion of and respond to the readings. The Children's Liturgy of the Word is designed to enrich a young child's understanding of the scripture readings. The Children's Liturgy lasts approximately twenty minutes, then they return to the church to be seated with their families.

There is no Children's Liturgy during summer months.
