Message from Father Ray
Our parish has existed for over forty years. If one were to examine one year it might seem just a normal, routine year with its rhythms and events and celebrations. But when we step back and look at the forty plus years, we become aware of the pattern our parish has taken. Like its patron saint, St. John Vianney, this parish community has made it possible in so many ways over the years, for people to find the Lord in their lives, especially through the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation. And we have all played a part in this picture. We might imagine ourselves as just dots of color - some black, some white, some brown, some red, some yellow - but our individual ‘dots’ make up the beautiful masterpiece that is St. John Vianney parish. May the Lord, who is the Master Painter, continue to renew us and use each one of us to present to the whole world the Portrait of Jesus, Himself.”
You have been family for me for twenty-eight years. Thank you for all those wonderful years, for your prayers, for your generosity, and especially for your love.
I pray the Lord will bless you with his gifts.
God Bless You,
Saint John the Baptist Mary Vianney
