ABOUT US
Our parish has existed for over 60 years. If one were to examine one year it might seem just a normal, routine year with its rhythms and events and celebrations. But when we step back and look at the 60 plus years, we become aware of the pattern our parish has taken to be a welcoming, family friendly community of faith.
OUR VISION
This parish community has made it possible in so many ways over the years, for people to find the Lord in their lives, especially through the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation. And we have all played a part in this picture that makes up the beautiful masterpiece that is St. John Vianney parish.
WHAT WE DO
The success of our parish comes from the taking an active part in her vision. We strive to offer opportunities that build the whole person. We do this by offering perpetual adoration, bible study and social activities that bring us together with faith being our first grounding commonality.
OUR COMMUNITY
With a vibrant community of faith that embraces young and old alike, we become a stronger, more diverse parish that can see the powerful plan at work in all of our lives.
OUR HISTORY
In 2016, we were blessed to have a one hour documentary that preserves our history by sharing the stories that cover the building of our church, the community she serves and the renovation of our current worship space.
This documentary was also featured in the Rhode Island International Film Festival in 2017 and we were honored to be selected out of over 6,000 who applied.
